Abstract RU 2169238 C2

FIELD: construction engineering; engineering amelioration for changing ground properties. SUBSTANCE: novelty is that floor strain and/or tension gagging in main and additional structure members are made in the course of building construction; additional stiffening members are introduced in constructive scheme of building. Gagging of tensions and settlements is made after erection of each floor of surface structure second to first floor. Then, upon gagging stress-and-strain state of irregularly compressible ground including strength of surface structure within two floors estimates are made of settlements and tensions existing by the moment of floor gagging, actual changes in strain and strength characteristics of base grounds, anticipated values of tensions and settlements by the moment of erecting last floor of surface structure from the standpoint of their tolerance, and conclusions are made on the necessity and amount of local impact on ground before construction is finished. If base ground is to be subjected to mentioned impacts, its erection is ceased or continued only where impact on ground is not required; for example it is grouted in cement-and-sand solutions whereupon erection of building and structure is continued.
