SUBSTANCE: invention can be employed in information transmission systems for construction of discrete channel as coding and decoding device of codes of various correction capability with detection of errors. Device has polynominal coder, tunable counter, commutator, channel commutator, control keys, modulo two adder, syndrome calculator, tunable storage register, clock pulse generator, AND gate, NOT-OR gate, unit evaluating state of channel, code selection unit, OR gates. Device provides for adaptation of code to changing characteristics of communication channel, specifically, to level of noise in channel. Device makes it feasible to raise number of sources and addressees of messages carrying information over isolated channel. EFFECT: shortened time of usage of communication channel thanks to reduced correcting capability and length of code with improvement of noise condition in channel. 11 dwg
