FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making skin incision on the outmost convex rib. The skin incision is drawn to the anterior axillary line. Cutanomuscular flap is separated upwards and downwards. Rib is subperiosteally excised in the projection of descending deformity bend from the neck to the anterior axillary line. Periosteum and parietal pleura are cut. Wound lips are separated with screwed wound dilator. Lung is shifted towards the root. The like resection is carried out 2-3 ribs higher in correspondence with ascending deformity bend. EFFECT: greater angle of surgical intervention. 1 dwg
