FIELD: applicable in processing of ore and non-metallic minerals, sewage treatment of industrial enterprises. SUBSTANCE: flotation of mineral resources consists in conditioning of initial product in pulp with reagents, aeration of pulp, treatment of pulp by sound vibrations, flotation and production of concentrate. Periodically sample of concentrate is taken, screened into sizes, the size is determined in which the content of the dead rock is maximum, then to the next sampling the pulp is treated by sound vibrations at frequency f equal to the frequency of natural vibrations of the dead rock from the found size and determined by formula Hz, where f is frequency of natural vibrations of the dead rock, Hz; σ - is surface tension of water, H/m; Ko= -ln(r/2a)-0,577 is coefficient; m = 4/3πρsr3 is particle mass, kg; r is average size of particles of size with maximum content of particles of dead rock, m; is capillary constant, m; ρs is density of particles, kg/cu. m; ρf water density, kg/cu.m; g is gravity constant, m/sq. s. EFFECT: selective action by sound vibrations on particles of dead rock fastened on the surface of bubbles, and throw-off of them from the surface of bubbles.
