FIELD: metallurgy, namely production of lumpy ferroalloys. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes intermediate vessel with flat draining nose, two start-up pieces arranged one opposite to another, drawing stands. Crystallizer is fluted one. Units for continuous mechanical breaking are placed directly after drawing stands. Intermediate vessel is mounted with possibility of rotation around draining nose. Invention allows to enhance ecological factors due to elimination of dusting, to reduce needs of production areas due to elimination of separately mounted breaking equipment and to produce ferroalloys in the form of lumps of normalized size. EFFECT: lowered energy consumption due to breaking hot ingot, enhanced ecology of process with use of such apparatus. 4 cl, 3 dwg
