AUTOMATIC PLANT FOR PACKING GROUP OF ARTICLES IN HEAT-SHRINKING FILM Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: food, medicine, chemical, light and other industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed plant has feed conveyor, accumulator, mechanism for separation and displacement of block of articles with drive, mechanism for wrapping article block in film and cutting off and welding of film, and film heat-treatment tunnel. Mechanism for separation and displacement of article block has grip with limiters over perimeter of block, separated block receiving and transmitting conveyors, front pusher mechanically coupled with block grip. Block is installed on carriage for vertical and horizontal reciprocation. Feeding of articles and movement of grouped blocks is provided simultaneously in horizontal plane. Receiving and transmitting conveyors are synchronized in speed with travel of carriage in direction of article movement. Synchronization in speed can be provided owing to kinematic coupling of receiving and transmitting conveyors with carriage through one-way clutch.
