AUTOMQTIC PLANT FOR PACKING ARTICLE BLOCKS IN SHRINKABLE FILM (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: food, medicine, chemical light and other industries. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of automatic packing of groups of articles on base or pan in shrinkable film. Proposed plant has feed conveyor, accumulator, mechanisms for separation and displacement of article blocks and delivery of bases (foldable packages) to knockout, mechanism for wrapping articles in film, cutting off and welding of film, and thermotunnel. Mechanism for separation and displacement of article blocks has grip with block perimeter limiters, receiving and transferring conveyors, front pusher mechanically coupled with grip. The latter is installed on carriage for vertical and horizontal reciprocation. Receiving and transferring conveyors are synchronized in speed with displacement of carriage in direction of article travel. Bases (foldable packages) knockout has support surface commensurate with base being made for angular turning around horizontal axis. Knockout and bases (foldable packages) feed mechanism are mechanically coupled with carriage. According to other design version, roller conveyor is used as receiving conveyor under which pan shaper is installed for vertical reciprocation. Pan shaper is essentially a set of different-length rods. Device for application of glue to foldable package pan with side hold-downs is installed above roller conveyor.
