FIELD: manufacture of large-size forgings, stampings, attachment components and other aircraft components. SUBSTANCE: alloy comprises, wt %: aluminum, 4.0-6.0; vanadium, 4.5-6.0; molybdenum, 4.5-6.0; chromium, 2.0-3.6; iron, 0.2-0.5; zirconium, 0.2- 2.0; oxygen, not higher than 0.2; nitrogen, not more than 0.05; and titanium, the balance, value of molybdenum equivalent Mome is at least 13.8. Method comprises heating large-size semi products made of said alloy to temperature tβ←→α+β-(30-70)°C,, keeping at this temperature for 2-5 hours, subsequently cooling in air or in water for 8-16 hours. EFFECT: reglamentation of optimum combination of α and β-stabilizing alloying components in final semiproduct, thus producing higher level of strength of massive large-size components having thickness of more than 150-200 mm. 4 cl, 2 tbl
