FIELD: titanium-based alloy possessing high technological effectiveness for manufacture of seamless pipes for aerospace engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed titanium-based alloy contains the following components, mass-%: aluminum, 2.5-4.0; vanadium, 2.5- 4.0;molybdenum, 2.0-3.5;zirconium, 0.4-1.5; iron, 0.25 max; nitrogen, 0.03 max; oxygen, 0.15 max; carbon, 0.01-0.1; other mixtures total, 0.3 max and the remainder being titanium. Alloy may additionally contain palladium and ruthenium. Proposed alloy possesses high strength and pliability together with considerable expansion of pipes and corrosion resistance.
