FIELD: combination pressure bottler; manufacture of light bottles for cars and flying vehicles and for transportation of compressed gases. SUBSTANCE: proposed bottle includes steel shell and spherical or cylindrical heads butt-welded without strengthening the seams. Shell is embraced by envelope made in form of circular turns of steel wire whose strength reaches 15 strengths of shell. Thickness of envelope may reach 15 thicknesses of shell. Compressive stress created in shell may reach 0.5 of rated stress caused by working pressure. EFFECT: modification of bottle due to improved joints of shell with heads, change in construction and material of external envelope, optimization of thicknesses of shell and envelope, creation of preliminary stresses; increased service life; increased capacity; reduced mass and reduced ratio of mass to volume; facilitated manufacture and low cost. 2 cl, 1 dwg
