FIELD: welding different-designation and different-shape tubular parts. SUBSTANCE: machine includes movable and stationary blocks mutually isolated and mounted on guides. Each block includes clamping mechanism having two double-arm levers whose upper arms are joined through crank transmission with clamping hydraulic cylinder. On rod of each hydraulic cylinder for upsetting floating piston is arranged; said piston engages with springy ring placed in body of upsetting hydraulic cylinder. Counter rod is joined with adjustment nut mounted with possibility of resting upon back lid of upsetting hydraulic cylinder. Each clamping insert has convex land whose inner radius is less than minimally admissible outer radius of welded tubes by (2-3)%. EFFECT: enhanced quality of welded joints due to easy alignment of tubes and forming arc gap, simplified procedures for operator, improved efficiency. 3 dwg
