FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device is employed predominantly for measurement of frequency of current of network voltage. Device measuring frequency of sinusoidal signal has pulse generator, pulse distributor, register and digital indicators connected in series and input pulse former. Device is inserted with rectifier to which input input signal is fed, n input pulse formers whose first inputs are tied up together and are connected to output of rectifier, (n+1) output pulse formers whose first inputs are tied up together and connected to output of pulse generator and whose second inputs are connected to outputs of corresponding input pulse formers, source of (n+1) reference voltages whose outputs are connected to corresponding second inputs of pulse formers, (n+1) input OR gates whose inputs are connected to outputs of output pulse formers and whose output is connected to counting input of counter, n being number of quantization stages of input signal. EFFECT: decreased averaging of counting with preservation of measurement accuracy. 2 dwg
