FIELD: dental equipment. SUBSTANCE: toothbrush has body including head and handle and provided with teeth cleaning members, voltage sources and at least two electrodes spatially isolated one from the other. At least some of voltage sources are made in the form of galvanic half cells or galvanic cells and are united to define electric battery. Battery output members defined by emitting and contacting electrodes serve galvanic half cells. Electric field density provided by battery does not exceed values allowed for electrophretic mouth cavity procedures. Toothbrush of such construction may be used for tooth cleaning, saturation of enamel with prophylactic caries-resistant drugs, introducing drugs into biological tissues of mouth cavity, as well as for suppressing activity of inflammatory process and reducing pain sensations.
