FIELD: individual sanitary and hygienic articles. SUBSTANCE: toothbrush has handle, head with bristles, power source connected with its positive pole to current-conductive member located on handle and with its negative pole to current-conductive member located in the vicinity of bristles. Power source is made in the form of electrolytic capacitor positioned for recharging from outer power source. Toothbrush may be equipped with current regulator and/or indicating optical diode. Outer power source may be made in the form of mains adapter or storage battery. Toothbrush is used for prophylaxis of oral cavity diseases, curing and eliminating inflammatory processes from oral cavity, as well as for dental caries prophylaxis and curing of paradontosis.
