FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves evaluating initial state of endothelial function and applying correction therapy. Nitrates-excluding diet and therapy are administered before determining the initial state of endothelial function. Quantitative evaluation of nitrogen oxide metabolites is carried out from the level of nitrates and nitrites in biological fluids of patient. Then, hypoxia test is carried out, and stimulated level of nitrates and nitrites is repeatedly determined and received data comparison is carried out before and after hypoxia test and with respect to reference value determined on healthy people. The level of nitrates and nitrites being increased after the test, the following treatment is carried out using interval-type hypoxia training. Otherwise the treatment with angiotensin-transforming enzyme inhibitors administered is carried out or their combination with interval-type hypoxia training is applied.
