FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves examining neutrophils with caps luminescence of cell membranes to be determined in dynamic mode (at the first, seventh, fourteenth and twenty first day). Comparison to the corresponding values in healthy people (0.015-0.020 conventional units) is carried out. Caps luminescence at the twenty first day being incremented by more than 0.009 conventional units and approaching the values characteristic of healthy people, favorable myocardial infarction course is to be predicted. No changes in luminescence is observed relative to its value at the first day, aggravation of the disease course and recidivation occurrence is to be predicted. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of prediction. 1 tbl
