FIELD: mechanical engineering, equipment for producing insulators made from electroporcelain. SUBSTANCE: device contains rod provided with a forming turning cutter secured to the shaft of the cutter inside the holder hollow and centering mandrel provided with a workpiece for five insulators. The holder is made of a segment in the plane of rotation of the shaft and is provided with the second hollow for second rod located symmetrically to the first hollow. The second rod is provided with two cutter tools for cutting-off and facing of the face plates of the insulator workpieces simultaneously. The second hollow is shifted by 30 o with respect to the first hollow. EFFECT: expanded processing resources of the cutter device. 2 cl, 3 dwg
