FIELD: oil and gas producing industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes pumping of substandard oil-containing products along string-borehole annulus space into underground reservoir, keeping the products in reservoir, pumping of brine along string of tubes and forcing out hydrocarbons along string-bore hole annulus space to daylight area. Prior to pumping substandard oil-containing products into underground reservoir, they are diluted by water or brine, after which they are filled into reservoir to capacity. After period of gravity separation of oil-containing products into hydrocarbon material, water and mechanical admixtures, hydrocarbon materials are brought out to daylight area. EFFECT: improved reliability of underground reservoirs, prevention of burning of substandard oil-containing products leading to contamination of ambient atmosphere, obtaining additional raw materials. 2 cl, 2 dwg
