FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; heat treatment of aluminum alloys of aluminum-magnesium-silicon systems containing transition metals: manganese, chromium and titanium. SUBSTANCE: method includes homogenizing at temperature of 480 to 520 C; rate of heating blanks from temperature of beginning of dissolving of primary phases formed by main alloying elements to homogenizing temperature ranges from 20 to 40 C/h; cooling the blanks in air and subsequent deformation are conducted at temperature of 450 to 520 C. EFFECT: possibility of obtaining bars of homogeneous non-recrystallized structure; increased rate of extrusion by about 30%. 1 tbl, 1 ex
