FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to aluminium-based deformable alloys, and can be applied to production of deformed semi-finished products in form of pressed profiles, rods, tubes, rolled plates and sheets, intended for use in construction, ship building, aircraft, automotive, and other industries. Aluminium-based alloy contains, wt.%: manganese 0.5-2.0, iron 0.2-0.6, magnesium 0.5-1.5, zirconium 0.2-0.6, silicon 0.15-0.6, copper 0.1-0.3, zinc 0.05-0.5, and aluminium - the rest, at ratio Zr/Si = 1 to 2, wherein zirconium in alloy structure is present in form of secondary cubic phase discharges Al3Zr with grid L12 and with average size not more than 20 nm. Method for production of deformed semi-finished products from aluminium-based alloy includes production of molten alloy, obtaining ingot by melt crystallisation, obtaining deformed semi-finished product by deformation of cast ingot, and thermal treatment of deformed semi-finished product, wherein melt crystallisation is performed at temperature exceeding alloy liquefaction by not less than 50°C, and cooling rate in crystallisation interval is not less than 20 K/s, deformation of cast piece is performed at temperatures not exceeding 450 °C, and heat treatment of ready deformed semi-finished product is performed at temperatures 300 to 400 °C. Particularly, ultimate strength exceeds 250 MPa, relative elongation exceeds 8 %, and yield point is above 200 MPa.
EFFECT: technical result is increased level of mechanical properties, including after heating at temperatures of up to 300 °C, which achieved without use of ingot homogenisation or quenching of deformed semi-finished products.
