FIELD: iron metallurgy, in particular calibrated stick.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes production of transition metal containing ingots; straining, hardening, drawing and aging, where before straining ingot homogenizing is carried out with heat rate of 30-500C/h. Further straining is carried out at first by warm drawing at 200-3000C and then by two-step drawing: after press forming with degree of strain of 30-40 % and after hardening with degree of strain of 12-15 %. Obtained calibrated sticks have recrystallized structure and grain size of 25-60 mum.
EFFECT: calibrated stick of recrystallized structure with strength ultimate, yield strength and elongation comparable with ones for stick of non-recrystallized structure.
