FIELD: construction engineering; devices for aperture closing. SUBSTANCE: garage gates have frame 1, gate leaf 2 with horizontal top and bottom axles on each side of leaf balancing devices made in the form of tension spring 5 in protective cover. Gates have also lifting-and-turning mechanism provided with double-arm levers; one arm of each lever is joined to bottom pivot axle, and opposite one, to balancing device. Horizontal pivot axle is fixed on gate frame. Guiding devices for top pivot axles are made in the form of articulated levers 8. Levers are joined together, to gate frame, and to top pivot axles by means of cylindrical hinges. Double-arm levers are made of closed section and their ends abutting against gate leaf are rigidly joined together through bottom pivot axles and tube. There are also stops preventing gates from spontaneous closing. EFFECT: reduced space requirement for gates in closed condition; reduced noise in gate opening; facilitated installation. 8 dwg
