VERTICAL LIFT-HINGED GATE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: single-wing vertical lift-hinged gate. SUBSTANCE: the gate has a gate frame, wing built up of two parts - the upper and lower ones. The wing lower corners are provided with rollers, the frame lateral sides - with respective vertical guides. The leverage is fastened to the gate frame and made in the form of a pair of levers, whose front ends are coupled to the wing lower part, and the rear ends - to the balancers. The levers are made extendible in the section between the front ends and the pivot. The balancers represent an adjustable counterweight linked with the rear ends of the extendible levers through a tube and levers. The wing is installed on the outer side of the frame gate and overlaps its opening around the edges. The wing is suspended in the frame by hinges. The wing upper and lower parts are joined by hinges. The front ends of the levers are coupled to the wing lower part through hinges. For locking the gate provision is made for locks with handles.
