METHOD OF ASSAY OF INDICES FOR USING PREPARATION FOR TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH BRONCHIAL ASTHMA Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, immunology, pulmonology. SUBSTANCE: method involves assay of the following indices for use of preparation for treatment of patients with bronchial asthma: functional activity of peripheral blood neutrophiles in vitro is studied (neutrophile test NST by method Park-67 in modification of Wixman and Mayansky, 1974). Isoptin solution as an inductor of oxygen- -dependent metabolism in vitro is used in the concentration 0.5 mg/ml in spontaneous and stimulated (induced) samples in the case of deviation of test value from the normal indices. Then test NST is carried out again. Advisability of carrying out treatment with indicated preparation is confirmed based on data of normalization or improvement of values obtained in repeated testing. Method provides carrying out the test in the absence of patient. Invention can be used for assay of indices to effective treatment of patients with bronchial asthma with isoptin.
