FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out electroencephalographic examination for detecting zonal α-rhythm distribution disorders and applying audiovisual treatment. The α-rhythm index and θ-rhythm index and relative power are additionally estimated. The α-rhythm index being fallen below 60%, zonal α-rhythm distribution disorder taking place, θ-rhythm index increasing from 15 to 50% and/or θ-rhythm relative power in occipital and temporal leads growing above 15%, audiovisual treatment is carried out with Vojager Galaxy instrument produced by Tetha Technologies, USA in treatment mode, beginning from audiovisual signals of 12 Hz with following frequency reduction during 8 min to 7.83 Hz that is to be kept unchanged to the session end. The total treatment course is 10 sessions long with each session being 30 min long.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; excluded application of unfavorable frequency bandwidth.
