FIELD: inspection devices. SUBSTANCE: device used to detect small fragments of metal bodies in products, materials, and parts having low electric conductivity including food and drugs functions to automatically measure moving speed of controlled entities by measuring time spaces between pulses produced in the course of passage of controlled entity through working zones of two optocouplers spaced apart through certain distance. Device provides for time selection of three sequential pulses generated when controlled entity passes through working zone of second optocoupler and that containing metal fragment, through sensitivity zone of first eddy-current transducer mounted at certain distance from second optocoupler; mentioned transducer has two series-connected semi-windings spaced apart through certain distance.
