FIELD: seismology; prediction of time, site and force of probable earthquake. SUBSTANCE: method consists in measuring ground temperature and pressure. Wave condition at atmosphere is additionally determined according to data on common content of ozone in atmosphere. Prediction is based on comparison of changes in wave conditions of atmosphere by low and high frequencies at typical seismogenious tendencies revealed from archives data followed by more accurate forecasting conclusion based on meteorological observations. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability of short-term forecasting of earthquakes. 3 dwg, 3 tbl
