FIELD: holography. SUBSTANCE: device used for shaping at least first and second color light beams including those equally plane-polarized and having respective first and second preset spectral compositions incorporates first and second almost coplanar superposed holograms illuminated by same beam of non-polarized light of at least first and second spectral compositions; both mentioned holograms are recorded so that within each of them axis of diffracted beam is perpendicular to direction of incident beam on this layer. Diffracted beams shape first and second equally polarized and angle-separated light beams having different spectral compositions. Video projector using this device has compact optical system and is adapted to liquid-crystal matrix screens. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of image projector. 11 cl, 3 dwg
