FIELD: banks of cylindrical capacitors such as double-layer ones. SUBSTANCE: according to invention, capacitor bank has disk-shaped flexible hold-down devices with spherical surfaces. Convex spherical surface abutting against stack of cylindrical capacitors has sphere radius equal to 5-10 diameters of stack; radius of external concave surface is greater by 1-3 stack diameters than that of convex surface. External surface of flexible hold-down device may be made flat or in the form of convex cone with top angle of 175-178 deg. Flexible hold-down device has disk spring and central disk with flat surface on side of capacitor stack, its diameter being equal to 0.5-0.7 of stack diameter. Central disk is provided on side of stack with cylindrical or toroidal ledge and central bore of disk spring has drilling on side of stack ensuring reliable joint between central disk and disk spring.
