FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: homogenizing head has seat and valve, with slot between them defined by concentric annular seat and valve grooves. Slot has discharge chamber. Grooves for supplying product to slot and damping cavity are positioned in head upper part. Seat and valve are mounted for rotation in opposite directions under the action of product flow and are positioned in bearings within immovable casing provided with homogenized product discharge pipe. Grooves for supplying product to labyrinth slot are made in the form of converging tube formed by boring seat and valve so as to define conical surfaces, with cone apexes being oriented in opposite directions. Circular grooves are made along the entire length of conical surfaces of seats and valves, at an angle to generatrices. Grooves in seat are oriented in direction opposite to that of grooves in valve. Homogenizing head of such construction is designed for obtaining fine-dispersed products, such as milk, sour cream, mayonnaise, juice etc. EFFECT: improved quality of homogenization and increased efficiency. 4 dwg
