METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE OF DECORATIVE FINISH FOR PIECES OF CLOTHING Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves designing model of clothing piece; making part patterns; selecting and cutting material; providing allowance margins in places adapted for arrangement of decorative finish in accordance with model of clothing while cutting material into parts in accordance with pattern; forming slash on edges of parts by tucking material edge, sewing by thread stitch at face side, with stitch being arranged as close to tucked material edge as possible; undercutting remained material margin; tucking obtained fold once again in the same direction and sewing at face side so that new stitch line coincides with previous stitch line; leaving decorative finish on face side of article and joining parts to face side or to face and reverse sides to obtain ready article in accordance with selected model. Method is used for manufacture of decorative finish for articles produced from thin fabric. EFFECT: simplified method and reduced labor consumption. 2 cl, 3 dwg
