POWERED PNEUMATIC SUPPORT Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: mining; applicable in roof control in unattended coal mining. SUBSTANCE: powered pneumatic support has face and caving rows of pneumatic balloons which in staggered order are fastened to base beams and located on both sides of each row; advance mechanism with levers located between support rows. One ends of levers are hinged to face base beam of the second row, and the other ends are connected with caving base beam of the first row. Connection member of lever other end with caving base beam of the first row is made in form of slider installed on said beam. Similar base beams of row are interconnected by rigid tie rods. Sliders are interconnected by additional rigid tie rod and connected with pulling member. EFFECT: reduced labor input in process of advance of rows toward face. 7 dwg
