FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gaseous fuel pressure regulators. Proposed differential pressure regulator has housing with cover and seat for valve. Two diaphragms are rigidly coupled with rod whose end is mechanically coupled with valve dividing space inside housing into first and second chambers. First chamber has first union for connected to reservoirs where fuel is kept under pressure. Second chamber under first diaphragm has second union for connection to engine fuel system. Diameter of second diaphragm is greater than that of first diaphragm. Both diaphragms are loaded by spring. Adjusting screw thrust against free end of spring being installed in threaded hole of cover along diaphragm axis. Third chamber between two diaphragms communicates with atmosphere through hole in housing of pressure regulator. Fourth chamber between cover and second diaphragm is connected with engine manifold through union. Pressure regulator is furnished additionally with flexible suspension in form of plate and rubber ring Space formed between plate and first diaphragm is connected though hole with pressure regulator outlet. Invention eliminates self-excited oscillations of movable system inside pressure regulator owing to introduction of flexible suspension and improved accuracy of gas pressure regulation at pressure regulator outlet by means of injection phenomenon depending on gas flow rate.
