FIELD: preparation of concrete mixes and fillers for radiation shielding. SUBSTANCE: source mix contains in its composition cement and filler; the latter is titanium-magnetic ore having fraction size not over 0.1 mm at density of 3.3 to 3.6 g/cu. cm or 4.5 to 4.9 g/cu. cm. Proportion of mix components (mass percent) is as follows: cement 18 to 22%; filler 78 to 82%, or cement 78 to 82%; filler 18 to 22%. Filler incorporates in definite proportion of components. Concrete prepared from this mix is mainly used for radiation shielding of nuclear power plants and other nuclear plants and pieces of equipment.
