FIELD: meat grinding equipment used in meat packing houses, as well as in home. SUBSTANCE: cutting unit has knives with curved blades and cutting edges, and grid with conical openings. Openings of one type are made in the form of Archimedes spirals and of other type in the form of logarithmic spirals. Cutting edges are provided at one side with notches. Grid openings have apex angle of 60 deg and are channeled with ribs of triangular section. EFFECT: increased efficiency, improved quality of ground meat product and reduced power consumption. 4 dwg
