FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: workpiece is ground with a flexible tool. The working surface of the tool is covered with an abrasive and not working surface is rigid. The chamber of the tool is filled up with a cutting fluid. The workpiece is set in translational motion providing permanent applying of the cutting tool to the workpiece and supplying the cutting fluid to the cutting zone through passages provided in the cutting tool. EFFECT: improved conditions of micro-cutting and contact between interacting surfaces, enhanced quality of grinding. 1 dwg
