FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed steering mechanism with hydraulic booster has housing 1 of steering mechanism, hydraulic booster 2 arranged on one of ends of housing 1 and reduction gear 3 made in its case 4 installed for detachment through its cover 5 on other end of steering mechanism housing 1. Hydraulic cylinder is found in reduction gear case. Worm pair is installed in steering mechanism housing 1. Worm 7 of worm pair is mechanically coupled with hydraulic distributor 2, and roller 9 is installed on pitman arm. Hydraulic cylinder 6 is made in reduction gear case 4 so that its longitudinal axis is arranged square to axis of rotation of worm 7. Main gear 12 of reduction gear 3 is rigidly coupled with worm 7. Main gear passes through oil seal 13 installed in cover 5 of reduction gear 3. toothed rim 16 of main gear 12 is in meshing with toothed rim 17 of idler gear 18 of reduction gear 3. Idler gear is rigidly connected with gear 19 of drive of toothed rack - rod 20 of hydraulic cylinder piston, toothed rim 22 being in meshing with toothed rack-rod 20 of hydraulic cylinder piston.
