FIELD: transport engineering; steering gears. SUBSTANCE: proposed electric servo has housing accommodating drive and driven shafts connected by torsion bar, drive shaft torque transmitter and worm gear drive. Housing is closed by first and second covers from shaft extensions. Worm gear drive has worm wheel which is concentric relative to driven shaft and is rigidly connected with shaft, and multiple-start worm set into operation by electric motor. Driven shaft is arranged in servo housing in bearing whose inner race encloses inner end of drive shaft. The latter is installed through bearing on torsion bar coupling inner end of drive shaft with outlet end of driven shafts. Bearing, from side of outlet end of drive shaft, is mounted on second cover.
