FIELD: airfield equipment. SUBSTANCE: device has reservoir filled with braking medium which is sunken at the end of runway. Electromagnets connected with DC source are mounted on bottom of this reservoir over entire area. DC source is connected in its turn with computer connected with command unit and sensors mounted before reservoir, at its end and on both sides. Length of reservoir is found from relationship indicated in claim. EFFECT: reduction of aircraft overloads; possibility of performing prompt preparation for reception of various aeroplanes due to control of viscosity of braking fluid. 2 cl, 2 dwg
