FIELD: ice technology, freight hauling. SUBSTANCE: method involves erection of temporary ice bridge from steel pipes vertically dropped into reservoir bottom along through holes formed in ice covering on both sides of temporary bridge and over its entire length; near-bottom end of pipe is welded and top one is allowed to project over ice surface. Novelty is that pipe ends are made in the form of cones; cone of top pipe end is formed under ice covering. EFFECT: improved strength of pipe-to-reservoir and pipe-to-covering joint. 1 dwg
