FIELD: road engineering; building of ice crossing for transportation of loads. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention is aimed at increasing load bearing capacity of ice crossing which is provided by freezing-on ice supports under ice covering. For this purpose through holes are drilled in ice through which pipes with welded up lower end face are vertically driven into ice covering. Lower ends of pipes thrust against bottom of reservoir. Upper end of pipe projects from ice covering. Cold air getting inside pipe provides ice coating of the latter and forming ice support. EFFECT: increased carrying capacity of ice crossing. 1 dwg
