FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: high-voltage isolator comprises grounded foundation, pedestal insulators, current-carrying system of cutting type with contact leads, comprising movable manifold contact knife, which is hingedly connected to the first fixed contact with its one end, and coupled with the second fixed contact by its other end, at least one grounding knife, as well as mechanism for blocking of driving shaft of movable manifold knife with driving shafts of grounding knives. Each of grounding knives and movable manifold knife are arranged in the form of two identical holders connected to each other with the possibility to adjust their mutual position. On inner sides of each of holders facing each other, there are current-conducting busbars arranged with contact sites provided on each of them in the form of thin-walled convexities of mostly cylindrical shape in cross section, coupled with fixed contacts. At outer side of current-conducting busbar there is a radiator fixed rigidly to it and made of thin-walled profile of "П"-shaped section, and pairs of pins are pulled through their ribs, plate springs are installed on pins serving as supports, besides springs located at opposite sides of knife are tightened to each other by opening force.

EFFECT: improved operational properties of isolator, increased reliability of its operation, simplified design and improved manufacturability of isolator production.
