FIELD: electrical engineering; dc commutator machines. SUBSTANCE: commutator machine has frame, stator, armature, and end shields of which one carries brushes secured by means of brackets and brush holders. Brush holders are coupled to brackets by means of rectangular-section studs that enter rectangular seats of brackets; the latter are bolted to brush-holder studs. Bolt head at each joint is located in depression provided in bracket and its threaded portion is driven in threaded hole at butt end of respective stud. EFFECT: simplified design, reduced space requirement, enlarged service life of machine. 3 dwg
