FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: invention, in general, relates to production of sea kale and terrestrial vegetable-based products enriched with iodine, alginates, vitamins, pectins, and mineral salts. Prepared moistened sea kale mass is subjected to fermentation and then to heat treatment in presence of alkali, after which acidic agent in the form of either crude acid-containing terrestrial vegetable material or mixture thereof with an acid is added. EFFECT: reduced power consumption, moderated processing conditions, and enabled enrichment of product with supplementary complex of valuable vitamins intrinsic to acid-containing ground vegetable material involved. 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 5 ex
