FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: method involves administration of a mixture containing 30 ml of 0.5% novocaine solution, 10 000 U of heparin, 40 mg of hydrocortison and 500 000 U of monomycin under Achilles (calcaneal) tendon in patients with damages of lower limbs in the first hours of reactive period of frostbite. In the case of wrists frostbite this mixture is administrated by through interfinger spaces into deep median space of palmar surface of wrist. Before mixture administration 1.0 ml of 1.0% solution of butiroxan is administrated by subcutaneous route.
