FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves additionally determining antibodies to M. Leprae of IgG and IgM class by means of M. Lufu antigens in the cases of antibodies to M. Leprae of IgA class being found in immunoenzyme assay. Antibodies level being found to be equal to or greater than 0.40, leprosis is to be diagnosed. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy in diagnosing leprosy cases. 2 tbl
