SUBSTANCE: what is presented is a method for Mycobaterium leprae antibody test on the basis of the simplified procedure of blood serum M. leprae antibody test. The method provides the specific Mycobaterium leprae antibody test by latex particle agglutination. The method uses a test antigen in the concentration of 28 mg-Eqv/ml for sensitising 1.4% suspension of polystyrene latex particles with amino groups 2 uEg/ml of the diameter of 0.62 mcm for 8 hours at room temperature and for 18 hours at temperature 8°C prepared by ultrasonic disintegration of Mycobaterium lufu at 18 kHz for 30 minutes on the Lowenstein-Jensen medium in a thermostat for 7 days at temperature 37°C.
EFFECT: method enables reducing the length and conducting the tests in the field environment.
