FIELD: liquid separators at periodic centrifugal discharge of sediment.
SUBSTANCE: proposed separator includes drum mounted on vertical shaft and provided with base with intake chamber for displacement fluid, cover with sealing ring, plate stack, plate holder, piston sealing end face and passage in its body having outlet to sealing end face of piston and to buffer chamber under piston. Base is provided with intake chamber for control fluid; sealing end face of piston has circular recess which is communicated by at least one passage with outside medium for escape of air during filling it with control fluid.
EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency and reliability of control mechanism; reduction of consumption of fluid for control of separator operation.
