METHOD OF ENSURING NOISELESS MOTION OF SUBMARINE VESSEL AND NOISELESS PROPULSOR Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: methods of ensuring noiseless motion of submarine vessels. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is realized with the air of noiseless propulsor which includes profile pipe in form of water conduit combined with heating unit for heating water in this conduit. Water conduit is flow-through passage located in space between outer and pressure hulls and directed upward for taking cold dense water at lower portion of ship's hull and discharging warmer water at lesser density at upper portion of ship's hull in direction opposite to direction of ship's motion. Water is set in motion due to differential in its density depending on degree of heating. Rudder and plane are mounted at water conduit outlet in jet of water escaping from it. As a result, reactive force arises which makes submarine vessel move. EFFECT: possibility of concealed motion of submarine vessel. 6 cl, 1 dwg
