FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the ship propulsion systems. The device to increase the thrust of the aforesaid system with simultaneous decrease in screw propeller noise incorporates a water duct wherein a water flow is generated by the screw propeller. The water duct is an inner through channel truncated cone tube attached to the hull, its axis of symmetry being aligned with the screw propeller axis line and the tube narrower part facing the said screw propeller. The tube wider part faces free water space to allow water flow passing in the tube from the screw propeller to the said free water space. The tube narrow part, directly behind the screw propeller, accommodates a blade apparatus rigidly fixed to the tube inner wall, the said apparatus being made up of radial curvilinear blades allowing straightening the swirled water flow from the screw propeller to a straight water flow to be directed into the tube and, further on, into the free water space.
EFFECT: lower weight of the device.
